Privacy Policy for Trendix

1. Introduction
Trendix ("we," "our," or "us") is developed by Kartal Karabulut. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using the app, you agree to this policy.
2. Information We Collect
- Account Information: When you sign in, we collect your name, email, and account ID through a secure third-party authentication service.
- Photos and Images: When you use the image generation feature, you provide photos from your camera or photo library.
- Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage statistics (screens visited, features used, session duration, device model, and OS version) to improve the app.
- Advertising Identifiers: We may collect device advertising identifiers to show relevant ads.
3. Biometric & Face Data
Your uploaded photos may contain facial features. Here is how we handle this:
- What we collect: We do NOT perform facial recognition, facial analysis, or create biometric templates. Your photo is processed as a complete image only.
- How it is used: Photos are used solely as input for AI-powered image-to-image transformation. We apply artistic templates (cartoon, futuristic, thematic styles) to generate a new image. We do NOT use face data for identification, profiling, surveillance, or tracking.
- Third-party sharing: Your photo is sent to a third-party AI image generation service (e.g., Google Cloud AI Image Service, OpenAI Image Service) for processing. The data is transmitted securely via encrypted connection. The third-party service processes the image temporarily and does not retain it permanently.
- Storage: Original uploaded photos are NOT stored on our servers. They exist in device memory only during processing and are discarded immediately after. Generated images are stored on your device and, if you are signed in, in your personal cloud storage linked to your account.
- Retention: Since we do not extract or store biometric data, no facial or biometric data is retained. Generated images remain on your device or cloud storage until you delete them.
Summary: Trendix does not perform facial recognition or create biometric templates. Photos containing faces are used only as input for artistic image transformation and are not permanently stored on any server.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To generate AI-transformed images using your photos
- To manage your account and authenticate your identity
- To store your generated images in your personal cloud storage
- To manage subscriptions and in-app purchases
- To display advertisements
- To analyze usage patterns and improve the app
- To respond to your support requests
5. Third-Party Services
We share data with the following types of third parties:
- AI Image Generation Services (e.g., Google Cloud AI Image Service, OpenAI Image Service): Your uploaded photos are sent to these services for image-to-image transformation. Data is transmitted via encrypted connection and processed temporarily.
- Cloud Database Service (proprietary to our app): Stores user preferences, favorites, and app-related data securely.
- Cloud Storage Service: Stores your generated images in your personal account.
- Authentication Service: Manages user sign-in securely.
- Subscription Management Service: Manages in-app purchases and subscription status.
- Advertising Service: Displays ads within the app using advertising identifiers.
All third-party providers maintain data protection standards consistent with industry practices.

7. Data Security
All data transmitted between the app and our services uses encrypted connections. User authentication is handled through secure, industry-standard methods. Access to user data is restricted to authorized systems on a need-to-know basis.
8. Your Rights
- Access & Deletion: Request access to or deletion of your data by contacting kartalkarabulutbusiness@gmail.com. We process requests within 30 days.
- Manage Subscriptions: Cancel anytime through your device's subscription settings.
- Limit Ad Tracking: Adjust via your device privacy settings.
9. Children's Privacy
Trendix is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" above. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance.
